JOHN DICKIE
John Dickie is a 47 year veteran of the Toronto music scene.
Primarily a vocalist John also plays harmonica, guitar, piano and mandolin. Originally schooled in blues and rock and roll he knows his way around funk RnB and some jazz.He has written and recorded albums with the Cameo Blues Band, John and the Sisters with Kevin Breit, the Prima Donnas, The Mississippi Hippies, Mondo Combo and Piledriver. John has had the good fortune to perform with The Neville Brothers, James Cotton, Albert Collins, and Buddy Guy. As a radio broadcaster John also hosted a blues radio show on Q107 for 14 years and a late night talk show on CFRB for 3 years.
